Burke-Daniels Co., Inc. (BDI), formed in 1981, is an independent surplus lines broker specializing in energy risks. Acting both as a broker and a Lloyd’s cover holder, BDI has placed over $500 million of premiums in worldwide insurance markets in 27 years. In addition to our brokerage capabilities in North America, London, Canada and Bermuda markets, the firm enjoys an excellent reputation in the insurance marketplace as an innovative, competitive and aggressive broker.

BDI has grown to be the largest independent E & S energy insurance broker in the U. S. This has been achieved by assembling a select, professional staff with over one hundred and eighty-six years of surplus lines energy insurance experience. More importantly, we are positive, competent professionals with the expertise, enthusiasm and work ethic to get the job done.
